We will lift 3 Songs for this Sunday 3rd May, 2020:

Our Mind Set For Today.
Today we shall take some scriptural assurances of God to lonely pilgrims as we journey home from earth to heaven.
We will read these assurances as part of the sermon and also pray along.
PROLOGUE :
Many challenges exist on earth and in every one of them, God’s word grants us courage to face them. Today fellow pilgrims as we journey from earth to heaven we will prayerfully lift the following scriptures as sermons of hope.
Therefore for this day each quotation here, is a sermon. Praise ye the Lord Hallelujah.
GOD HAS ASSURED US.
Our readings, shall be lifted from New International Version or King James Version of the Bible. Let us be encouraged, there is hope no matter the situation .
LET US GO SIMULTANEOUSLY.
1) From John :
14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
14:19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
14:20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. (John 14:18-20)
This is a great assurance to us. Orphans live often at the mercy of unsympathetic community. God is not just sympathetic, but He is compassionate. Reason into the two words:
(i) Sympathetic people can walk away, because they can not do more than that.
(ii) The compassionate one will not go away, He will stay with you.
God will stay with us. He tells us “Because He lives we shall live.”
2) From Luke:
12:27 “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
12:28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! (Luke 12 : 27-28)
Lockdown, no food, bad business no money , God cares for even one thread of hair from our head will not fall, without His knowledge. Let us keep waiting.
3) From Luke :
12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32).
God is not only after material earth for us, He is pleased to give us His Kingdom. Note this song: ” the faithfulness of the Lord never ceases…..”
4) From Isaiah
53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:4-5).
Jesus has borne our griefs, was wounded for our transgressions. Let us follow him with steadfast love. He is able for us.
5) From Exodus :
15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. (Exodus 15 : 26) KJV.
God will not put any of the diseases of Egypt upon you. You should continue in Him diligently.
6) Finally today from Isaiah :
54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 54:15-17).
God will protect you from the waster, for all weapons are of the Lord. If they gather against you, God sees them in the spiritual realm. God shall pull them down. No sorcery against you shall prevail. Amen
