God will do His will

PROLOGUE :

In heaven only the will of God is done not the will of angels, demons or the will of men. As we pray for the will of God to be done on earth,  He will bring His will to our lives and the will of the evil one will not occur in our lives. So   us pray for the will of God.

Scriptures :

“The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. ”

(Proverbs 15 : 26).

“The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.” (Psalm 33  : 11).

THEME : HUMAN PLANS MAY NOT BE GOD’S WILL.

HUMAN beings have their plans, because God gave man power of choice. Choices do not always come to pass. Man’s volitional power is always subject to the will of God. Therefore human beings express choice and also pray  that God might answer. Some think their prayer is a command to God,  but God  sees beyond our plans and brings His will to pass.

Jesus taught us how to pray  in  Matt. 6 :

6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name

.6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6 : 9-10).

The will of God be done on earth as it is in heaven, is a great prayer. God has a definite purpose,  so contrary things happening are not the will of God, but the will of men in their respects.

So whether the will of man will happen,  will depend on how they fit into the will of God and how each man stands before God.

It is also not the loudness of our prayers or how long they are which make the will of God tocome to pass. And in this respect Jesus said :

6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. (Matt. 6:7-8).

God knows what we need even before we pray. Earthly parents have wills or desires  for their children.

We are encouraged to be as simple as possible and in this I  feel to tell us  to use God’s promises in our prayers,  His promises toward us will never fail  when mentioned in our prayers. If we pray into His will, we are blessed.

THE FULL MESSAGE.

We should pray to get the mind of God. Most selfish prayers might fall outside the will of God.

A child of God might pray and not get answers, because he prayed amiss. Read this :

“Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.” (James 4:3).

Desires often manifest in the way we make our prayers  and when they do not fit into  the will of God,  we might have prayed amiss. So let the will of God be done in   our lands and never the will of men.

NEVER USE MEDIUMS TO PRAY FOR THAT IS NOT THE WILL OF GOD NEITHER WILL ANSWERS WE PERCEIVE TO RECEIVE,  BE THE WILL OF GOD.

PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN AVAILS MUCH.

Some want to pray the answered prayer. That is supposed to be,  but unfortunately many have used mediums instead of trusting God. So most prayers thought to be answered are short-lived. God’s answers are out of His will and are permanent.

WHAT COULD HINDER GOD’S WILL!

5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. (James 5 :16 – 17).

In all of  this, we need to be close to God,  to be in a position to  pray into His will. If we sin our prayers may not be heard. We are encouraged to pray for one another and confess our sins to one another.

Confessing our sins  to one another is not  a golden rule today , because most people do not even know what is sin. Some see themselves right and therefore are out of God’s grace. May God help us.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES:

28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination

.28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

(Proverbs 28 : 9, 13).

GOD’S WILL PROCEEDS FROM HIS THOUGHTS    US -WARD.

40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.  (Psalm 40:5).

Thanks to God who has a plan for His creation. May God treat us as His children. May we obey God so we may fit in His will. Amen.
