My Christian friends and children of God, I welcome all of us to the first sunday in August 2020.
It is a privilege to be here, if we consider, the events of this age. We are therefore thankful to God. He who led us so far in this troubled time, will keep us faithfully in Jesus name Amen.
THE SERMON OF THE DAY.
The word of God says there is nothing that is hidden that will not be revealed. There is no action that will not be brought to judgement.
We must therefore beware.
It is better to make oneself clear, because when secrets are revealed they bring shame to the conceivers of such evil.
In years gone by only Goverment departments were the mouth piece of the people of the nations.
The government can tell lies and there had been a cover up across the nations. Most television stations were censored for broadcasts contrary to the desire of the government.
The Lord is exposing the secret cover up of the nations and of individuals. There is no hiding place in this world.
In this the word of God tells us :
4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. (Mark 4 : 22).
Even today, when the kings go to the toilet, it becomes news. So the word of God shall come to pass as has been predicted in the scriptures.
The secret of kings is no more secret. All their manoeuvres and cover ups are in the air.
24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24 :35).
Human beings, who God created have entered into great and shameful conspiracies against God and His created beings. They have in their wisdom chosen to make the word of God of no effect. They have come up with grand deceit in many ways attempting to reduce the integrity of the bible and making God as nothing in their own eyes.
God has spoken by His word saying :
8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. (Luke 8 :17).
All the joggling of men shall be made naked, for God has allowed them to come with their foolishness to shame the wise. And the scriptures assure us of the exposure of this world’s foolishness before God. The wisdom of this world is foolishness before the Lord.
3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. (1 Corinthians 3 : 19).
Let us take events of the age to prove God’s power over everything.
13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. (Matthew 13 : 35).
All what we hear about the plan of the devil working with his human cohorts, should not frighten us. We have the assurance, as God tells us :
10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. (Matthew 10 :26).
In all God, will punish all the wicked, who do great evil in cover up. He has laid the carrot before all men as He says :
24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. (Joshua 34 : 15).
FINALLY FOR TODAY :
Those who chose their own ways have chosen death. And God warned the children of Israel as they were entering the promised land saying:
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (Deuteronomy 30;19.)
Let the deceitful people and the wicked continue to do what they like. The whole story ends in their choice to continue in their conspiracy against their creator or confess their sins and take the shame and God will have mercy on them.
12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12 : 13 – 14).
All the conspiracies of the big men of this world in swelling words shall be brought to judgment.
Pray for yourself, your kindred people and your country. God is coming awesome. His words have declared. On your own, do no evil and cover it up, but note it shall be uncovered before you know it. There is no hiding place before God.
Help us on Lord Amen.
