THOSE WHO DO THE WILL OF GOD WILL PROSPER

Driving message:
“He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers” (Ps. 1 : 3 NIV).

Prologue :

The issue of prospering lingers in every heart. If a thing prospers people rejoice. It could be an institution, an animal or a plant. Human beings in general seek prosperity.
Prosperity encompasses the thought of all men. In a night vision I got up with the Words “Those who who do the will of God prosper”. There was an attachment to it , “They shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bears its fruit at its season”.

The Message :
Let us find the scriptural content of this vision.
What is the will of God?

Let us read this scripture :
“And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:40).

Everyone that sees the Son can be taken as a scriptural allegory. We see Him in the spirit through our belief of Him. He gives such everlasting life. Anything that perishes in this world has not prospered indeed. But eternal life is the climax of prosperity.

In the epistle of John we read this from 1 John 2:
2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (1 John 2 :16-17).

Pardon my interpretation that this world will pass away means this, “all we call human prosperity, we cannot hold them permanently, all enticements, all human ego in life, shall perish with time, all human cravings and possessions, will become vanity in our eyes, but those who do the will of God will live for ever. Anything we will not hold for ever perishes and the climax of prosperity is only that good work we have done, will follow us as qualification for heaven”.

So true prosperity is in doing the will of God. If we follow after His will we shall prosper, God gives His people the taste of heaven beginning from this earth.

Do not misunderstand it that happiness in abundance on this earth is the true taste of heaven. Not so, but note the little that a righteous man has is great pleasure.

May the Lord make us perfect in every good work. And in this way we will be counted as righteous before the Lord. All through the ages men of God have sought through prayer good things for the followers of the Lord. Good work brings blessings and blessings are no other than prosperity.
13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:21).
Let us do the things well pleasing to the Lord and that will make us righteous. The righteous in a short definition is that man who does the will of God. Such a man fears God and loves His way.

Note those things God’s word says pertaining about the righteous :
(i) He showers the righteous with blessings.
5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. (Psalm 5:12)
(ii) God upholdeth the righteous.
37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. (Psalm 37:17)
(iii) The righteous has never been forsaken.
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. (Psalm 37:25).
(iv) The Labour of the righteous carries life.
10:16 The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
(Proverbs 10:16).
(v) God will reward the righteous also while on earth.
11:31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
(Proverbs 11:31).

My night vision is not suggesting for you what you may never have read from scriptures. It is rather a reminder to those who crave for wealth, but who have left behind some ingredients too important for a man to have to be prosperous.

May God guide us to the meaning of true wealth.
And let us see the conclusion. Make your choice to do the will of God, or if you like keep pursuing riches, without a plumbline. Some have gathered for others. May it never be your portion Amen.

Notes worthy of reference:
i) 11:28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
(Proverbs 11:28).
ii) 14:11 The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
(Proverbs 14:11).
iii) 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. (Psalm 92:13)

iv) 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalm 1:3).
If you follow after God, do not worry about delays, your fruits shall come at its season and whatever you do will prosper. Amen.
THANKS to God through this unveiled truth. May this message reach the person for whom it is destined Amen.
