YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH.

(Message from Miracle Valley)
PROLOGUE :
You can be a poor man, a rich man, one rejected, one of the largest philanthropists,or one living in the wilderness, a beggar or a sick man, or any other, what makes the difference in your life is when you know the truth and living by it. This is the whole man.

PLEASE READ ON TO FIND WHAT IS TRUTH.
What is the truth?
Many philosophers quarell with the Word truth. I think the reason for this doubt is because the word “truth”, means different things to different people. But there is a central truth which explains many things in life. There is only one book I know whose contents have stood for centuries. It is a better referecene to check to, in very many things of doubt in life.
And Jesus said :
8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32).
Believing and continuing in what one has believed, creates a new dimension. In this Jesus Christ said ” ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”. This truth is coming from the creator, the Almighty God.

In the way of God ignorance is never an excuse. Even in this secular world, ignorance is not an excuse. The right things, which you do through knowing they are right to be done, will set you free from evil. If we believe in God we will not be ignorant people. We will be guided properly.
What is then the “TRUTH?”. This is the most asked question by inquisitive people.

And Jesus prayed to the Father saying:
17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (John 17:17.)
So the Word of God is the truth . Those who want to know the truth, should consult the Bible , it is the Word of God and it is the truth.

Sanctify means to set apart, separated from the normal scheme of the world to know more about God and His commandments.
To stand apart to live a righteous life is sanctification. The Word of God has the power of sanctification, separating people from the crowd to obey God.

Obedience is a struggle between the wrong thing and right way. It is better to struggle to be right no matter the cost. Amen.
People who are sanctified are kept holy to serve the Lord for a divine purpose. To know the truth is to do the will of God, which is to keep His commandments.

Note this saying of Christ :
“He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.” (John 14:24).
Thus, unbelievers or the unfaithful, do not love God and will not hear the Word or do them. What is the Truth is the most asked question. People come after this issue in belief or unbelIef.
It is the most asked after. And Jesus said:
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63).

Apart from the truth being the Word of God, this Word of God is Spirit and life and quickeneth. It is also life. It means therefore that seeking the Word of God is same as seeking life.
We have now settled this issue that the Word of God is truth. People who love God hear Him.
The truth sets free. This truth gives life. Those who reject the word have rejected the truth and also rejected life.

No one has been victimised for no offence, even as we agree that many have given false witness to make an innocent man a criminal.
In the world of lieing today, many are criminals and are not free people, because somewhere along the line, they are caught by the law.

The greatest law is the Word and this is the truth.
If people keep the commandments of God, they will be free from sin. People who do not know that certain things, which they do, are sins, will be in trouble with God.
For this reason we must know the truth so that we can be made free.
Reading from Exodus 20: 1-17, God’s commandments lay the foundation for the truths we must know and follow.

Take these notes :
Five of the commandment from verses 1-11, relate to our relationship with God;
and the other six verses 12-17 relate to man to man. For examples:
20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. (Exodus 20 :13-17).
There is no other commandment outside these two bodies of laws given to men, Jesus summarized them, when He answered a question in Matthew 22:
22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.22:38 This is the first and great commandment. (Exodus 20:1-12)

22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Exodus 20 :13-17)
22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:40).
The above are the entire scripture.
Every sin men commit hinge on:
(i) not fearing God; and or,
(ii) working against their neighbours. These are the truths which will lead men to heaven or hell.

You must know these truths and keep them and you will be free from sin. Unfortunately, doing the contrary to the above are bread and butter of this world. We therefore have before us, all types of lawlessness, which is failure to obey the Words of God.
Save us oh! Lord from wilful ignorance.
Amen.
