Man lives in a timed realm , but our God lives in a Timelesss realm, for that reason as old as we hear of our God, He remains the same and He said to us “I change not.”
The judgement of God is in the future.
And the Lord said, reading from Malachi:
3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.
JUDGMENT OF GOD HELD IN THE FUTURE.
Those who will be judged are the sorcerers, the adulterers, false swearers, those who oppress the hired labourers in their wages, those who oppress the widow and fatherless, those who deny the stranger their right, those who fear not God. Not to fear God is the highest of sins and encompasses all sins. God will bring them to judgenent.
Judgment is covered by time. They will be judged, based on what they did in TIME past.
Many do those things in the above verse and walk away and some will say “nothing will happen”. The future will tell whether something will happen. God holds the present and the future in His hands and releases the things which are hidden as He chooses.
God’s command has been :
3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 3 :1).
And Jesus came with the same message :
4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:17).
Repentance is the way to forestall judgement in the future. May God never find us guilty in Jesus name Amen.
In the book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 we read :
3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. (Ecclesiastes 3 : 1, 17).
TIME appears to tell some people there is no cause for worry, because what they do is not known or they are not reprimanded at once or suddenly. However the bible records the words of Jesus thus :
10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. (Matthew 10:26).
IS GOD IN A HURRY?
Surely God is never in a hurry to judge the wicked.
Let us take Malachi 3:6a
3:6a For I am the LORD, I change not; (3:6b therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.) (Malachi 3:6.).
While men may change and do what they might like to do, God does not change in His programs. He will surely bring to pass whatever He has said. There is therefore a time of judgement and a time to bring men out of troubles.
NOTE THESE (in the workings of time)
- i) Jabez was born into trouble, but he cried to God and he was blessed and excelled far above his brethren over time. There was hope for Jabez in the course of time, which he did not know about. God answered his prayers and his future became great.
Read 1 Chronicles 4:9-10.
- ii) Nebuchadnezzar was a great king. He fed sumptiously in his palace and beheld the mighty works of his hand and boasted of them.
Did he know he will live in the jungle for seven seasons, ( seven years), in the midst of beasts and fed on the grass of the field?
Read Daniel 4 :33-34:
4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.4:34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
When a great king becomes an animal, It is the aftermath of many years of sinful indulgence. So was Nebuchadnezzar!
BEWARE OF WHAT YOU DO, FOR THE LAW OF GOD HANGS OVER EVERY HEAD.
If men could know that the consequnces of what is done today, which is covered by time will be, then men might be more careful.

Prayer :
Lord let my sins not be hidden Lord for the future. Forgive me Lord God, as I recognise my sins for the future of unforgiven sins are too great to bear.
Grant to me the power to live in righteous works. Never let me take any action for granted, for I fear the result of sin, which after its repercussions in this life, ends in hell fire.
Grant me grace to live for you Amen.
