24:19 Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:

24:20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out. (Proverbs 24 : 19).

That problem that keeps you concerned will be out of your life. Time is a great manager.

For faithful people time is a great friend.

THE SERMON :

Every second ticks off and  the next second  comes and do not return.

Several ticks of the second make up hours,  days, weeks , months and years and none returns. Problem arise and expire with time.

In same manner men tick away and do not return.

And the Bible tells us this :

3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: (Ecclesiastes 3 :1).

No man can change what the future holds in  stock , except God who programmes everything of this life.

God manages the future for His children and you the  child of God need to be calm in your mind.

We must pray that  God will programme our times ahead to bring forth good things. Every man is born to achieve something at a God given time and surely if we have lived well, before God He will make things work good for us. We get worried with situations in  the general scheme of this world,  God our maker  sees all things.

People rise and fall, people act like lions that own the forest, fearing no beast or foe, but in all God demands righteousness from men. He brings judgement at its time and no one can question the Lord for any action He takes.

We are encouraged to wait upon the Lord doing good.  Waiting signifies that  the time of an expectation is in the future, it cannot be now until the time when “now” in the scheme  of God comes to be.

God told Abraham this :

18:10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

18:11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. (Genesis 18 : 10 – 11).

Abraham and his wife waited for 25 years for the time of life from God.

God cannot tell a lie and He told Abraham and Sarah, when both of them were of great age :

” I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son”.

There is time of life as there is time of any other thing. Abraham and Sarah received Isaac at the time of life.

 And to Zacharias :

1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.

1:20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. (Luke 1 : 19 – 20).

Zacharias and Elizabeth received John the Baptist at the season of life.

May the season of God  bring to us great tidings of great joy.

GOD THE GREAT NANAGER OF TIME.

37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. (Psalm 37 : 19).

Our world is great with uncertainties that come with the  time that ticks off. Those who wait upon the Lord are not waiting for evil time, but for the good time.

62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. (Psalm 62 : 5).

We must renew our resolve as we  wait for the Lord. We must be prayerful and faithful in the Lord.

11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11 : 6).

We must accept that our times are in the hands of God and not in our own hands or the hands of any man.

All men are nothing without God. Do not therefore fret yourself of the evil men for you  will look for him and they  will not  be found.

IMPATIENCE KILLS.

The impatient man will not wait. The impatient man will be worried about the wicked that will not be found in his place.

That problem that keeps you concerned will be out of your life. Time is a great manager.

For faithful people time is a great friend.
