The Gospel bells are ringing…
The message under this heading today is: “Teaching them to observe what I have taught you”
28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28 : 19 – 20).
Prayer continues to be made to God on several issues of life. How far has teaching the people been an agenda?
How far has a man who is suffering for the sins of his ancestors or his own sins been delivered?
Is God’s maxim which says ” He that confesseth and forsaketh shall have mercy taught in those gardens of deliverance ?
Note the stand of God in that respect :
28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
28:14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. (Proverbs 28 : 13 – 14).
Let those who seek the deliverance of the Lord be given this important teaching. Let them learn of the Lord for the breaking of yoke.
AMEN.
Jesus has given us the solution :
11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11 : 28 -29).
Let the deliverance pastor take the people to Christ, through relevant teachings so they can find their way. Let those who seek deliverance learn of God so that they can retain the deliverance which they have received.
Money spending which is the easy way to breaking yokes, instead of repentance will never work.
God is still waiting for His enemies along the way. He is the Alfa and the Omega. “He said I am He”, somewhere in scriptures, but in another dimension, for our purpose here read this:
7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7 : 14).
Have those who are being prayed for known what hit them.?
I hear of families spending millions of Naira on deliverance, yet the gods of the ancestors and their own personal sins and gods, are still reigning among them.
How far will a holy God deliver them?
The deliverance minister parades the arena, utters many mysterious incantations and gives assurance but, “who delivers?”
God or men.”
Jesus commanded ” teaching them to observe what I have taught you”
Something to remember :
4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4 : 2 – 3)
Many people are inviting people to conduct deliverance services for them, but they have not accepted Christ.
The man of God should begin with teaching them to accept Christ first. You should accept Christ amd His righteousnes first, before seeking for His deliverance.
A man who attends a church as a member, but goes out to receive deliverance from anywhere whatsoever, does not know Christ. He could be in a church that is not leading him to that Christ.
Such deliverance sessions will never deliver, because God will not deliver people who are still in their sins and who declared themselves enemies to Him, and so eating from two altars: the altar of Satan and the altar of God.
