“When any idol is dead those who worship that idol are equally dead.”
WORSHIP HE WHO DOES NOT DIE !
Some are bold to stand or sit before an idol and eat with demons, or the works of their hands. Keep off that boldness. The scriptures make it clear today over again to us , that this is offensive before the Lord God.
(i) Some worship money;
(ii) Some worship carved wood or iron (graven images);
(iii) Some worship fashion in other words they worship themselves.
(iv) Some worship material things call them chattels these are cars, houses, jet aircrafts.
(v) Some worship food, drugs, alcohol. Infact some are gluttons over food and have become obese.
(vi) Some worship sex and one girl once told me, she cannot sleep a njght without a man beside her, so many men are like her and now immoral people.
WHICH OF THE ABOVE IS YOUR IDOL?
All these are toys and they have taken the place of God in most minds.
KEEP OFF THESE IDOLS.
If you have any of these, there is a vacuum in your life and the spirits have come in to occupy you. You must invite the Lord Jesus to come in and occupy.
In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess, that Jesus Christ is the Lord.
READ THESE DEEPLY:
2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
(Philippians 2 : 10 – 12).
Those who worship idols are not trembling before God, instead they are bold over every iniquity. They are not intimidated and therefore waiting for day of calamity.
Listen after reading the above :
(1) The demons some serve do bow;
(2) The demons some eat in their shrines do bow;
(3) The demons some have given big names,
because what they are doing for them do bow: at the name of Jesus.
Right from the Old Testament God had spoken to the children of Israel and He said:
And you shall not bow down to them
READ :
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20 : 5 – 6).
NOTE THIS:
In the name of Jesus every knee shall bow :
(i) the things in heaven shall bow:
(ii) the things on earth shall bow;
(iii) the things under the earth shall bow: and these include the marine spirits, and those things people have buried under the earth, to give them power, or things people have buried under the earth to work against their so called enemies. All of these shall bow.
(Phil. 2 : 10 -12).
YOU CAN SEE THEN THE FUTILJTY AND VANITY OF ANY MAN’S WORDHIP OUTSIDE GOD.
In addition to this futility, God tells us that the fathers who did these are His enemies and He will deal with those who do those things among them and their children to a third and fourth generation ( 300 – 400.), to them that hate Him.
GOD TELLS US THAT HE IS A JEALOUS GOD.
I WISH THAT WE HAVE THIS MINDSET:
FROM EPHESIANS 3:
3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
(Ephesians 3 : 8, 9, 14).
May God grant us grace to see, to know and avoid the futility of worshipping idols of all dimsnsions.
All who trust in Jesus, have the power to bring down strongholds against them. You have one single obligation: serve God in holiness and you will behold His glory”
There is power in the name of Jesus. When any idol is dead those who worship that idol are equally dead. “WORSHIP HE WHO DOES NOT DIE.”
May God heal your unbelief Amen.
