GOD CAN REFINE THE FILTHY FOR HIS USE.
Something to remember:
2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work. (2 Timothy 2 : 20 – 21).

God may not be waiting for those who are not prepared. So we may go about praising ourselves, on how godly we are, while God is choosing Rahab and Ruth, two rejected people to move forward His Kingdom plan.
God refined them and used them and this is possible for many in the world today. God searches the heart.
And so also did the children of Israel brag of how they were Abraham’s stock. Jesus seeing their stiff neck told them that God could raise the stones to be children for Abraham.
3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. (Matthew 3 : 9).
The concept of God searching the heart, or knowing the inner thoughts and motives, is a recurring theme in the Bible and other religious texts.

17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17 : 9 -10).
The pride of the Jews thereby, opened the door for the Gentile nations.
The paradox in Rahab and Ruth should stop any one to feel or believe that God is consistently using rejected or filthy people.
BEWARE, FOR GOD HAS ALTERNATIVE PERSONS HE COULD USE.
– Rehab was a harlot.
– Ruth was a Moabite.
We often feel that some sinners have no come back. Too bad to think that way. God wlll not take permision from anyone to use those who He will call.
Ruth was a Moabite a rejected people by Israel.
Ruth is a Moabite woman, who married a Judean immigrant named Mahlon ( Ruth 1:1–4; 4:10). Upon his death she becomes a childless widow, who chooses to accompany her mother-in-law, Naomi, to Judah.
SEE HERE THE MYSTERY OF GOD .
It is interesting to note that Matthew is the only biblical writer to tell us that Rahab was the mother-in-law of Ruth.
Rehab begat Boaz and Boaz married,Ruth.
Boaz married Ruth and begat Jesse and Jesse begat David.

1:5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;1:6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. (Matthew 1 : 5 -6, 16).
How far have you excelled above rejected people?
Pride can cost anyone to forfeit heaven.
