In this world there must be problems or issues that task humanity. But christians must endevour to face challenges, no matter the dimensions by focus sing on Christ, who called them.
There is the possibility to focus on parents, brothers, sisters or other related people for solution to problems. Many may focus attention on the government, but incidentally, the government does not know them as a person, but might work on the generality of the needs of the people, without anyone in mind particularly.
The Words of Christ exhorts us thus::
Matt. 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Something is wrong with the manner with which we face challenges. This is in :
“Putting the cart before the horse”.
Many people who focus on their problems and not Christ are like people putting the horse before the cart. In this situation neither the horse nor the cart will move. There is a psychological road block.
Jesus tells us that if we seek the kingdom and its righteousness all these things will be added unto us.
Let us re – arrange this and prioritize. Let us put the horse before the cart and we shall move.
Seeking the kingdom is living a godly life and that brings to us great supernatural breakthrough.
The additions we would experience ( which Christ said these things will be added) would come in these dimensions, when we obey God’s word.
1) soul salvation:
10:28 ,And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. (John 10 :28).
God gives eternal life to those who seek Him. And let us believe it, this is the gift of God, which no man can take from us and it is eternal. All other gifts as in 2 and 3, below are not eternal and they are the issues that bother men on earth. These are the areas where people face and sweating on them often without result.
2) Material blessing: People are looking for survival, and when that comes people begin to look for self actualisation. God makes these things possible and many times when this comes, they drive people to godlessness and if care is not taken people have backslidden.
Mind yourself, when God blesses you, for the present blessing you might be seeing, could be the tip of the iceberg of what God plans for you.
Note these:
(i) “He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. (Proverbs 11:28).
(ii) “The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish”. (Proverbs 14 : 11).
3) Healing:
People are sick all over the world and this is not just body health. but spiritual malalignment. Some are sick in mind and in this we do not talk of medicines anymore. These issues most times harass human beings and they are prepared to give their best to regain normalcy. Quite many forget God as the healer in any of these dimensions.
Look at these scriptures:
(i) “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5 :16)
(ii) “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; (Psalm 103: 3).
(iii) “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed”. (Isaiah 53 :5)
Jesus completed the healing of mankind on the cross. So for those impossible sicknesses, which has defied medicines, Christ has left solution for all mankind to access it. But many have not sought Him. You who is reading this can take your burden of sickness and hand them over to Him. He is able to take over, if indeed you come in faith and ready to follow His instructions.
I, the preacher of this sermon, was and still is , a beneficiary of divine healing, 50 years ago, when all hopes were lost to sickness.
Christ healed me by the prayer of the saints and adopted me and made me His messenger.
You can be a similar one for this kind of testimony.

GOD PLANS A UNIVERSAL HEALING OF HIS PEOPLE.
Read this:
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound. (Isaiah 30 :26).
There is global persecution in killing of believers. But take this insight in reading the above verse:
A DAY IS COMING WHEN GOD WILL SETTLE THE CALAMITY OF HIS PEOPLE AND DELIVER THEM FROM THE ANTICHRIST.
There is global massacre of Christians every where and we often ask if God is not there. These persecution is sickness of its type. God is coming for His own in light never known to mankind. Keep trusting God.
THOSE WHO SEEK TO BE RIGHTEOUS WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION.
Read :
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived”. (2 Timothy 3 : 12-13).
Christianity got its name at Antioch.
After the matyr of Stephen many of the believers left Jerusalem, ( Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit).
They were scattered into many parts of Asia and some to Europe.
Acts 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only”.
Persecution is often a fertile ground for the expansion of Christianity.
“And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26).
If you are a christian focus on Christ. Many of us have problems as the early disciples had, which was one of life or death in persecution. But they focussed on Christ. Focus on Christ and not even your denominations , because Christ is for all, but your denomination is not for all. Only Christ can save you and not your denomination. Be Christ centered , it matters much.
