The message I have for us today is like telling us that God had taken an oath concerning His people. Look at God’s faithfulness concerning His people from the following:
And from the book of Isaiah:
55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. (Isaiah 55 : 9 – 12).
This is the position of God. We have one obligation that is as that as He is faithful in what He will do, we should remain obedient to Him
And God had asked Balaam in the book of Numbers :
23:18 And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:
23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
23:20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and He hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. (Numbers 23 : 18 – 20)
The enemy has seen your success and has sent the prophet to curse you so you will be weakened and he will rise over you to over power you.
God is faithful to keep.our heads above the waters
The king of Moab has seen the children of Israel as a mammoth crowed and envied them.
Balak had sent Balaam to curse them, but God put His word into the mouth of Balaam to ssy to Balak that He God will not lie, He has blessed and cannot reverse it.
Haleluyah
You.and me will never understand the battle that is raging in the spiritual realm for our sake .
Our enemies shall be like Balak no matter the numbers of altars they might build and offer sacrifices against such altars to hurt you and them that trust in God: The Lord God has said that He cannot curse whom He has blessed.
God’s word concerning His people will not return void.
Often in doubt we get frightened by feelings, the things we see or hear, but God’s thought towards us are great.
We shall go out and come in, we shall break into singing and Gods name shall be exalted in fulfilment of His faithfulness concerning us.
Today we shall pray and thank God for His faithfulness and assurance concerning bringing redress to our aches and paints and all the taunts of our enemies.
We will remember our failings and keep thanking God for His faithfulness also to forgive us
