Preamble :
God Always Has Advance Plan And Knowledge.
God told the children of Israel :
20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. (Deuteronomy 20 :4)
ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS?
1) What do you know about the coming to end of the disasters in our world today?
2) What do you know will be the outcome of your poverty, your sicknesses and your rejection, even rejected by those who you have prayed for and loved and cared so for much?
There is nothing that God does not know.
God knows about that poverty, that sickness , that rejection and has something good in them for you as long you are His child. Therefore worry not, but pray about them.
When you weigh the battles, which Israel fought in the wilderness and the battles they fought after entering the land and the battles they are fighting now and victories coming their way, you will not doubt that God has a plan in thier and your present circumstance.
God also has a plan in the present situation in your health, the present situation in our land Nigeria and all the aggression of men against God Himself, who is their creator, across this wide world.
PROBLEMS DO SHATTER THE MIND.
When Jacob was told about Joseph being eaten by wild beasts, his hopes were shattered.
37:33 And he knew it, and said, It is my son’s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. (Genesis 37 :33).
When the brethren met Joseph in Egypt, Joseph said to them :
45:4 And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
45:5 Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
45:6 For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. (Genesis 45 : 4 – 7).
Note the following advance knowledge of God :
1) God knew there will be a famine in the land and He schemed on how to save His people and therefore sent Joseph to pave the way.
2) God had called Abraham and He must make Him the great nation He planned ( Gen. 12 :1 – 3). He therefore must preserve that generation to protect His program.
3) God knew that a great people need a great and knowledgeable personality and so He brought Moses to the Palace of Pharoah to learn the arts of the Egyptians. He was educated and able to write the first five books of the Bible, which today are the foundation of man’s knowledge of God.
4) God knew that man needs eternal salvation and He sent Jesus to walk and work in the midst of mortal men to impact in them and to make a nation of His own among human beings among the nations of the earth.
LET US THEREFORE PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING ABOUT GOD’S DESIGN IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE AROUND US.
If we think we know about the future, then let us think of these great matters about man in this arena of earth. :
1) Even the great astrologers do not know their future. If menbers of the cults knew what await them, they should have not dared into their actions.
2) Witches and wizards that create havoc across this world, do not even know their future and most often cannot deliver themselves.
3) The leaders of great nations and peoples do not know their future and stand in internal ravaging situations.
4) The great commanders of great armies , do not know if they will return from the battle.
5) That man who threatens you with fire and brimstone does not know his future. He is also not in control of those plans. He may not exist on the day of his plan.
If there is anything to worry so much about, it is what God plans to do and not what we feel.
God can change the signs of the zodiac, according to His plan , but man cannot change the simple elements of his own physical and spiritual existence. Therefore trust God
LET US RELY ON GOD. HE HAS A PLAN TO BLESS ALL GOOD PEOPLE. AMEN.
The Psalmist said from His experience of God :
40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. (Psalm 40 :5).
Be strengthened therefore by the written Words of God. They do not fail.
Prayer:
We depend on You Lord, let Your design towards us continue to be our strength. Amen.
