A Miracle Valley Revival Series
OCCASIONAL BULLETIN.
( Designed as a non – denominational outreach program).
ON A PRAISE SUNDAY TODAY.
THEME : GOD SPOILS THOSE WHO STAY BESIDE HIM WITH UNTOLD BLESSINGS.
The Prologue :
The Yorubas call a spoilt child “aje butter”, when they get in contact with such children, who are given the best of what they need and even the things which they do not need. In like manner God deals with His beloved ones most often.
What is the meaning of an ” aje butter” ?
For any other explanation , an “AJE BUTTER” is a pampered child. He or she could also be likened to as a spoilt child.
God said to Abraham “……
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing”. (Genesis 12 : 2)
This is God’s ” Aje Butter” Baba Abraham.
God pampered him in the following words.:
- make thee great nation
- Bless thee
- Make thy name great ; and
- Thou shalt be a blessing.
May God pamper all of you here Amen.

A Message at Miracle Valley Praise Sunday in Lagos on 7th October 2018.
It will be all of praise God all the time today. Halleluyah.
The Message For Today.
At the Chinua Achebe’s pounded yam festival, in the Book “Things Fall Apart” the people were spoilt with food and drinks. But at our praise galore to God, we are being spoilt with life benefits showered on us. We are drawn nearer to God on our way to eternity. Bondages and yokes are broken, prison gates are opened and joy of the Lord is renewed in many hearts.
Those who gathered around Jesus saw His compassion, they did not even praise Him as we do now.. We who have praised Him and or will praise Him will receive more than compassion.
HIS GRACE LIFTED ME.
At our praise Sunday today, with this theme “His Grace Lifted Me ” one will know that we would have not have been here, but for His mercies, we are not consumed.
People who recover from a big fall are like people in the Lamentations of Prophet Jeremiah, who told a better side of it all in the following words.
3:22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not
.3:23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
3:24 The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. (Lamentations 3:22-24).
Can we sing that song now? Join me:
The steadfast love of our God never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
They are new every morning ( 2ce )
Great is thy faithfulness oh ! Lord ( 2ce).
MERCY AND GRACE ARE INTERCHANGEABLE WORDS.
Mercies come spontaneously through Grace or unmerited favour. So we shall for this purpose today, use the words Grace and Mercy interchangeably.
These words in Lamentations 3:22-24, came because they knew what God had done for them through His love.
God does it better than the great men of this world. When you visit a rich man in the time of harvest, you are like someone at Chinua Achebe’s proverbial pounded yam festival.
The guests sat on the opposite sides of the mound of pounded yam table, not seeing those who sat at the other side of the table. But as they kept eating and the mound of pounded yam kept lowering, people on the other side began to see others who they knew and had to stand to greet. It was indeed a high mountain of pounded yam.
Those who attend God’s praise galore, are wonderfully spoilt with His untold blessings. It is not same as the Chinua Achebe’s proverbial festival, but rather indeed life unmeasured, given back to people who are nearly missing.
You will surely receive your portion of God’s blessings today, say Amen.
His Grace lifted us. Praise God Amen.
When we remember the mercies of God and how we would have stumbled, then we could pick our various instruments of praise and tell the Lord we are grateful.
NOW PICK YOUR PRAISE INSTRUMENT AND TELL DADDY ” I AM HERE “
This is exactly why we are here today from different denominations and with renewed hearts to say, “Thank You Lord”
So we can sing this song with a better understanding from our hearts as we intimately understand the mercies of God through the things He has done for us.
WE ARE GRATEFUL OH LORD, FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR US……….
DO NOT SWALLOW GOD’S PRAISE.
And you and me could see now, how men of old never swallowed the praise due to God as they praised Him in words:
Ps. 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalm 100:1, 4 – 5).
His truth endureth to all generations. We in our time can agree with David, with Miriam the sister of Moses, that God deserves praise. These people had cause to praise God at one point or another.
We will not swallow His praise at our time.
We will not talk about this with words only, but we have to demonstrate it. The best time to praise God is when hope is nearly lost , when the odds weigh heavily on all sides.
So whatever had been your burden, set them aside, let God bother about your heavy load as you praise Him now. Let it no longer be yourself, He understands. Thank You Daddy!
PRAISE OF GOD : “THE GREATEST WEAPON”.
The greatest weapon we could muster is praise. People like Jehoshaphat, faced the armies of Ammon. Moab and Mount Seir, put together at the sane time , with praise ( 2 Chro.20 ) and God gave them victory.
Note specifically 2 Chronicles 20:19 : “And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.”
It is mysterious to note that their praise galore went on as the children of God faced their diehard enemies bound for war, and they came along with their wives, little children, all of them together, without even sticks to face a great horde of death bent warriors.
The hosts of heaven will join us today as we, with one voice sing :
“Come and join me sing Haleluyah the Lord God has done me well…….” Amen.
God has done us well and that made it possible for us to celebrate a day of praise like this.
As we leave this scene, let this praise be not ended in our hearts, let the echoes continue as the Lord keeps us for another PRAISE Sunday and may we return with testimonies in Jesus name Amen.
Praise Sunday Message 7th Oct.. 2018.
