Miracle Valley Sermon 20th August 2022.
Theme: Jesus came not to condemn the world.
My joy:
Jesus did not come to condemn my people, but that through Him my people might have life.
A MUST READ FOR ALL FAITHS.
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Read Luke 4 :18.
Jesus came as a Saviour. People may believe in gods, but not in the Son of God. So there are many gods, but there is only one God, who is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved
Jesus was sent to deliver not to condemn. But note this:
.3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Many have gone into many ways according to the god they have chosen. Such people are condemned unless they repent.
The tragic thing here is that the unbeliever is condemned while he lives. The unbeliever is just counting time.
So in the dark people do what they like to do and Satan will not bother them, but will use them to do evil and later kill or destroy them.
3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
People who do good.will fear God and honour Him in the light. Those whose works are evil, prevail in the secret places. Every wicked work is done in darkness or cover up, but shall be revealed.
3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Be cause the work of some are evil, they will not come to God and will hate those who talk to them about salvation, It is not their business to serve the Lord.
You know every wicked work prevails in the dark.
3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. (John 3 : 16 – 21).
This message today is the summation of all salvation messages.
Believe in the Lord Jesus that ye may be saved. There is no other way to God.
And in conclusion of this message :
16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16 : 30 – 31).
