The journey of life is like a journey through the wilderness. When Israel left Egypt they less expected it will take them forty years to get to the promised land. None of them ever thought he or she will not get to Canaan.
Each year opens with such journeys through the wilderness for every man.
We must approach God with faith trusting and hopping in His mercies and leadership.
As Israel travelled to Canaan they did not walk in the wisdom of God. The journey became quite long when they depended on their own wisdom.
We .must walk in the wisdom of God. All will be well for us.
When people depend on their wisdom the tendency is for them to do what they like which leads to all sorts of sins that offend God.
In such respect the journey sometimes become quite long with several tragedies as like in the case of children of Israel.
Many expectations fail or get truncated when we fail to hearken unto the Lord.
Our life journey can be better if we walk by the wisdom of God.
We must make this year a faith year before the Lord.
Read this :
Deut 1 : 31 as well as in the wilderness, where you saw how the LORD, your God, carried you, as one carries his own child, all along your journey until you arrived at this place.”
1:32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God, Deuteronomy 1 : 31 – 32.
God nonetheless, led Israel in their journey, but the journey had gotten elongated to 40 years.
We learn by experience.
And please hear me Daddy Almighty God, we need your presence in 2024 and in other years to come.
We will wait upon thee Lord.
What does waiting do ?
Waiting on the Lord by trusting, seeking, and praying establishes our faith and brings serenity and stability:
Someone in scriptures said:
“I waited patiently for the LORD;
I cry to Daddy Almighty God never to allow us suffer in 2024 on account of any shortcomings of ours.
Let us receive His counsel and forgiveness.
But I perceive this will be so, because many men of faith shall see the Lord.
Let us keep aside all unfounded wisdom not approved of God and I perceive it will be better.
AMEN.
FOR WE NOTE THIS SCRIPTURE:
26:12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him. (Proverbs 26 :12).
Let us not be wiser than God.
Trusting God will help us wait on him when he delays or is silent regarding our prayers or the fulfillment of his promises. If he delays, it is for a good reason. His actions are founded on his wisdom and love. Before his ascent to the throne of Israel, David learned to wait on the Lord.
In the year 2024, we must trust God for all things and not lean on our understanding.
Saul could not wait for Samuel and in a hurry he went ahead to offer a sacrifice which Samuel ought to offer to the Lord. He was thus rejected.
We must wait upon the Lord.
Ps. 27: 14 ” Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD”

2024 is a journey through the wilderness.
Yes, who can tell us how this year will go for himself. There are many soothsayers and star gazers. Do not think of them.
Many have claimed so much. Quite good, but we must support the claim with prayer and holiness. Help us Lord.
Surely people who consult spirits are not trusting in the power of God to reveal anything
Men may be gambling with prophetic voices.
Let me make my prophecy for 2024 :
“God is able and faithful to stand for people, as He is doing always for His beloved worshippers in all nations, who live by His word and He will bring many blessings to pass on to them.”
Let me and you be one in this prophecy for 2024.
AMEN.
God certainly knows the end of events for for all men.
God will make the year good for all that trust and wait for Him, no matter how tough the year will be.
I believe in His promises.
Therefore let us wait as if never before.
Amen.
