There are current growth in wickedness and godlessness across the world, because many sons of BELIAL have been yoked together with the sons of light.
There was this caution to the Corinthian church :
6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
( 2 Corinthians 6 : 14.)
The sons of Belial are the children of darkness. Bible commentators describe them as worthless and satan’s incarnate
Read this:
13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known; (Deuteronomy 13 :13).
They are such as are looking for mysteries. They look for gods that will lead them to their heart desires. They were once among the true believers, before they opted out to follow their own away.
It is important to know that many are shifting away and luring many to follow them.
The book of Deuteronomy says they were once among them and have withdrawn men of their city saying let us go after gods ye have not known. Many of such strange people have gone occultic carrying out wicked acts as noted in our world today.
The Corinthians were warned not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. There are too many strange people in this world today. We must be very mindful of them so that we are not drawn away from our faith.
We should also share in this warning to the Corinthian Church, because light and darkness have no communication.
Many people have been carried away into strange ways of life, even some servants of God have been misled also.
You must watch your association, because such people are after their belly, fame and high level connection, having set God aside in their lives.
Note this caution by Christ :
16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16: 26).
SONS of BELIAL are looking for gain and such desire makes them to pursue strange gods and strange ways of life. Christ asked what it will profit them if they loose their own soul and gain the whole world.
This is a great warning for all of us today, before we get dragged into pursuing power influence, connection and ungodly riches.
Christ is coming soon.
