The shepherd will look after the sheep because they belong to him.
He can risk his life for the sheep because they are his.
But the hireling is a contractor. He works for the master for pay, and will not risk his life for the sheep
If the lion comes the Hireling will run for his life.
Jesus said he Is the good shepherd and will lay down His life for the sheep.
Read from from John 10 : 11 :
10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
It was in this manner that Jesus died on the cross for them that follow Him. He did not desire to save Himself when His enemies rose against Him. He had a settled commission to die for the sins of the world.
Read John:
10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
The hireling does not own the sheep and will run away when he sees the wolf coming and the sheep are scattered and some killed.
Read John 10:
10:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
The Hireling lives for pay and will not be concerned about the welfare of the sheep. People who pose as pastors, for what they will eat, are Hirelings. They will not care for the sheep, they come up with falsified teachings which aid their purpose. They are not Godcentric teachers and their purpose in the vineyard is fame, money and some have become immoral in the pursuit of the areas above.
Read John 10:
10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
You may be surprised that some of these Hirelings do not know some of their members. They may quickly know those they are reaping from.
If you do not know Christ as your Saviour, you are out of this discussion.
Jesus says He knows His own and that is to say : “He knows you” and that “you also know Him.”
10:15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. (John 10 : 11 – 15).
If you do not know Christ as He knows the Father He cannot lay down His life for you.
IN A TROUBLED WORLD TODAY.
In a Lesbian, Gay, Beastial, Transgender (“LGBT”) , Assemblies across the world, do they not have Pastors?
These are Hirelings, misleading, their congregation. These people cannot have life and soul saving help in such a place.
CAN YOU FIND THE SAVIOUR?
Every living soul still has the opportunity to repent from the misguided direction paved for them to follow by hirelings.
Even those in good churches, who have shut their ears and eyes from life saving messages, have opportunities for repentance.
GET OUT FROM THE ENCLAVE OF EVIL MEN.
The Gospel bells ring every day and people hear them, yet many are not running away from sin to life.
Many hirelings are not concerned about lost souls. Many have been dragged out of good churches by Hirelings.
Have genuine concern about the kind of Assembly where to you worship the Lord for where you worship will determine the nature of the spiritual food with which you are fed.
Whether you are fed by the Shepherd or the Hireling, will determine whether you will go to heaven or hell.

Say this with me –
Lord .Jesus I want to follow You. Make a way for me Amen.
