Miracle Valley Sermon @ Land of Goshen Agiliti Mile 12 July 23rd, 2023.
CAVEAT :
Many big missions are buying more jet aircrafts, for comfort in evangelism, this they will tell us, whereas some children of God are hungry, some naked, some are displaced, some are sick without help and several many in prison.
We must not forget that evangelism if it is to win souls, has never been and will never be, a comfort zone.
And Jesus said :
(1) I was sick and you visited me
(2) I was hungry and you gave me food
(3) I was naked and you clothed me
(4) I was in prison and you came to me
(5) I was a stranger and you took me in
(6) thirsty and you gave me to drink.
(Matt 25 : 35 – 40).
These can never be done within a comfort zone.
And those on the right said: when did we see you and do all these things?
And Jesus said :
25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
(Matthew 25 : 35 – 40).
The message for us today from the above :
The little bits of things we do for the sake of the kingdom shall be recorded for our ticket to heaven. You shall be remembered, slack not child of God, our Master Jesus cometh by and by.
Often, quite unknowingly, to some of us, you may have pleased the Lord.
We must make sacrifice, but if we sit apart to criticise those sweating on the field, let us remember, we have only one chance, the second chance may not come.
That one chance is now for that tomorrow we hope and expect, when all will be right and we can serve God better, may be illusive.
Some faiths in Christ believe there is a place called purgatory, where venial sins can be purged after little or some sort of suffering
and then one can go to heaven. From the above list of what Christ said were done for Him, do we call them anything today?
There was no second chance.
Not all what is done by faithful people, which Christ applauded as done for Him, in the above list, cost money, some were self denial and great sweat, for the good of the others.
CAVEAT :

Where is our fruit ?
Those that are successful in ministry, or those who weep that they are nothing, must be extra careful on issues that may not count in the eye.
What you say is nothing may be the goal that decides the football match.
And again :
(i) 9:23 ……he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. (Luke 9 : 23).
(ii) 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? (Luke 14 : 27 – 28).
Let us begin to find out what it will cost us to get to heaven, sadly often, some of the showmanship evangelism do not profit the kingdom of God.
HELP OUR FAITHLESSNESS OH! LORD.
Let us be in the number to whom Christ will say to:
25:34 “……..’Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.(Matt. 25 : 34) – NIV
NOT OUR PORTION !
We should never be, for what ever deceptive reason, after we have laboured in our own way to be told :
25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. ( Matt. 25 : 41) – NIV.
Let us pray :
Almighty, God may it please you to accept my labour in the field. Make me fruitful for thee oh! Lord, in the name of Jesus Amen.
