This must be a must read to people who are in high levels in life.
Many people feel they can do anything, coming from what they have, the people they know, the wealth of knowledge which they parade, the family they come from and so on.
“But Jesus said without me you can do nothing.”
This means that not minding the glossary of things and personalities listed above which a man may be connected to, human beings remain helpless without God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
It is note worthy that there is nothing that exists that God canmot do, but many things which bring human beings down.

A BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT EXCEPT IT IS ATTACHED TO THE MAIN TREE.
Please get attached to God always.
Read this :
15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (John 15 : 4).
The personalities and our personal might will not solve our problems or take us to the ultimate, except we are connected to God, who is the all and all.
Go to God and no where else.
Read this thoroughly:
15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
(John 15 :5 – 8 ).
WE MUST CHANGE OUR THINKING AND RELY ON GOD.
As people progress in this life, they never understand the mystery of what is happening around them. They get lost in life’s parades.
In John 15 : 5 Jesus said to His listeners : “without me you can do nothing”.
Every achievement a man makes, comes when there is life.
Every branch cut off from the tree withers and will not bear fruit anymore. Most people do not take this principle of life very seriously and so when things are going on well for them some have said “…… My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.” (Deuteronomy 8 : 17).
The Lord told Israel in the following verses, why they should never make such an utterance.
Read thoroughly :
l8:10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.8:11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:8:12 Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;8:13 And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;8:14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;8:15 Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;8:16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
8:17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.
8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. ( Deuteronomy 8 : 10 – 18).
THE NEED TO BE HUMBLE .
The above analysis calls every man to be humble when things are going well. God hates proud people.
WHEN WEALTH AND POPULARITY COME YOUR WAY, YOU MUST BEWARE FOR IT IS THE BEGINNING OF DOWN FALL OR PROMOTION IN YOUR LIFE, DEPENDING UPON YOU, ON HOW YOU SEE THE LORD GOD IN THE PROGRESS YOU HAVE NOTICED.
WHY ?
“BECAUSE WITHOUT GOD WE ARE NOTHING”
This is simply said, but the dimensions of being “nothing” will not be explained by any man who is affected, but by onlookers on what has come to be.
When Job suffered under trial of his faith in God, all the glory around him were gone and what was left was an agonising situation, such that his friends stood in desperation about him.
Job was not a godless man, but was tried, but many may suffer, not because they are tried, but rather they are suffering, because of their life of godlessness.
THE FRIENDS OF JOB :
2:12 And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
2:13 So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great. (Job 2 : 12 – 13).
That occurs when the glory of a man who was once great, has become nothing.
WITHOUT GOD WE ARE NOTHING.
My prayer for today :
May God help us to remain as branches of the vine, live a righteous life, bear fruit and be useful to God and mankind Amen.
