Lead verse :
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14 : 6).
The word “Way” is mentioned 249 times in the gospels of Jesus Christ that is the gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Exodus 13, Leviticus19, Numbers 29, Deuteronomy 76, Proverbs 106 and 119 times in Psalms.
So Jesus mentioned it more times than any other book of scriptures. The word “WAY” is so great not to be ignored.
If there is a way there must be followers. A way could be good or evil, and some enter ways, or way, which they know not the end. But surely every way which is followed by people have an end. Some have been deceived to enter a way either with sweet words or even by threat to life, but no way ends without a result bad or good result. Who leads you determines where you will end.
The WAY of Jesus is the only way that has answers to all human sufferings. It is the SOLUTION WAY. Try it and you can never prove it wrong.
What did Jesus say?
10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10 : 7 – 9).
Many people have come to lead, but not through Jesus, but through other ways ( their own door, could be window ) and Christ tells us they are thieves or robbers, who come to rob your soul and lead you to eternal fire, Beware.
In John 14 : 9 Jesus says, “I am the way, truth and the life.
There are ways that seem good in the eyes of a man, but the end thereof is death.
Read this in Proverbs :
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14 : 12).
Note many catastrophies around the world.
Many terrible things are going on in the life of people. When they happen people cry. Even relations join in the cry, but those involved had enjoyed vanity and when the evil strikes they tell you it is the work of satan. They soon forget the applause they received and the jokes they made on pastors and the attacks they came with on every opposition. May God grant us wisdom. The night is approaching for all men and for those who will never listen God will not welcome you.
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8 : 12)
Where there is light you will surely see the way . And when you see the way you will not stumble. Jesus offers us the light. All the perfect teaching that we receive that change the way we think puts light on our path. Those admonitions help us to get out of darkness. In darkness there is death. May we never walk in spiritual darkness in Jesus name Amen.
Please choose the Jesus way today among all other ways.
Many people are warned through God’s word to make a change and they make a caricature of the messengers of God and will never adjust their ways . The night is coming, when no man can work.
This message today need not be a long one, he that has ear let him hear. A minute decision to turn right on a high way can avert disaster. Life is journey on a high way and a quick turn to the right could lead one to eternal life in Christ. Make that choice now and now.
My God help me to find the way, I desire eternal life , show me the way in Jesus name Amen.
I wish that you plead your cause now, make a decision with Christ today. Be sincere and prove what God can do in your life going forward.
