We will pray down the hands of heaven for healing, breakthrough, salvation and other contemporary issues in the land, during this seminar. You should do the same, when you go through this seminar in groups or as an individual.

THIS IS AN OPEN HOUSE SEMINAR.
PREAMBLE :
Ancestral curses have been over dramatised by persons, who feel they are not bound. While many true believers have got out of the hook, there are many who through their own sins are adding to uncleared ancestral curses.
This seminar is a big one and a must read and a seminar to be discussed among believers. To know that ancestral curse can run a thread of 300 to 400 years, should be a matter for concern.
While God has laid down a way out, the onus remains for people to live a better life than the berated ancestors, who sinned as listed in Ezekiel 18 : 1 -24.
But note that there may be no family, that may have not inherited ancestral curse. Since you do not know your own case, does not mean it does not exist. If you go through God’s Words in this Seminar you will have reason to search very deep.
Because of intercessionary prayers needed, this seminar can last two days in the evening of one weekend (friday/saturday).
This seminar is crucial for you do not know what your ancestors did. it is not for Judah alone, neither is it for entire Israel, you do not know what your ancestors had done. People are often, not mindful of what they are doing today.
Forget not that the people living today, are the ancestors of a future generation. You notice many things, which shock you as a human being. How does God Himself see those things?

SEMINAR DETAILS ( SEMINAR CONTENT).
DAY ONE.
PART ONE
Defining ancestral curses:
Coming from the evils the fathers had done, or even what people have currently done by themselves, or are doing now, which led to, or are leading to the curses of God.
A curse is a pronouncement on a sinner directly by God or passed over to the children of sinners by God.
A curse can be a statement made by some one over an act of wickedness, which angers God to uphold the curse as stated by some one.
It is a yoke like that put on the neck of an animal to stop it, from entering places. A yoke can stop the progress of people, so they are not free to go to places.
Yokes create adversity, which could be financial, things not going well or life itself.
Notes:
(1) There are families, whose yokes are premature deaths, infertility, or genetic sicknesses. Yoke is bad.
(2) It translates into the physical from the spiritual.
(3) It cannot be averted by might, position or connection.
(4) Money cannot break yokes.
(5) Medical science cannot avert the consequences of yokes.
All these come because there is the hand of God in a curse of significant nature. Who can twist the hand of God?
It can be reversed only by God Himself, who placed or confirmed the curse on the individual, through His word. Curses are not broken for a people as a group. Each person must break the curse from himself.
Hardly is repentance and desire to do good a group affair. Each man must come out of the shackles of sin, which had resulted in a curse.

PART TWO
THE ORIGIN OF YOKES
In several instances in the Bible, both Old and New Testament, there had been instances of curses coming through the power of God. You can search out others, which are not included here.
Note the Genesis :
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; (Exodus 20 :5)
So when people sin God makes pronouncements concerning that evil. The result of that evil could come in later years of the life of that very person or on his unborn generation.
The prophets of old made utterances on the wicked and God confirmed them.
Today people do many crazy things and think it does not matter. Please evil done in life by people, matters much.
Many families have been closed down, because of evils in their generation. After all Sodom, was closed down because of immorality of the highest dimensions.
Do you know that not all the sufferings of people are from witches and wizards. Some people are suffering for their sins.
God told the children of Israel that if they worship idols or do other evils, He will visit their sins upon their children for three to four generations, which is about three hundred to four hundred years.
From the time of my great grand father to our current generation, could be up to or less than this span of years. Therefore many people are in that hook today.
There is opportunity for those who will go to God, to get out of this yoke.

PART THREE
THERE IS A NEW DIMENSION FOR PARDON:
Read this :
31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge. (Jeremiah 31 : 29 – 30).
If people persist in the sin of the Fathers, to eat sour grape, their teeth shall be set on edge.
Those who reject the sin of the fathers, through repentance may have not eaten sour grape, so they will get loose from the curse of the fathers.

PART FOUR.
WHAT DOES IT AMOUNT TO PERSISTING IN THE SOUR GRAPE?
Read the following :
3:11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
3:15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
3:16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
3:20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
3:21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. (Ezekiel 3 : 11, 15 – 21).

DAY TWO
PART FIVE
YOKES WILL BE BROKEN BY PEOPLE WHO COME TO CHRIST.
Jesus said :
11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matt. 11 : 28 -30)
You have to drop the yoke of sin and take the yoke of Christ which is a yoke of righteousness.
Learning of Christ will result in obedience to the word of God. This will break every yoke and the sour grape will get off its hold in your life.

GOD’S GRACE TO CHILDREN NOT LIVING ACCORDING TO THEIR FATHERS.
Read from Ezekiel 1i : 1 -24 :
18:1 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,18:2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge?18:3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.18:5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,18:6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour’s wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,18:7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;18:8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,18:9 Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.18:10 If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,18:11 And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour’s wife,18:12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,18:13 Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.18:14 Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father’s sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,18:15 That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour’s wife,18:16 Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,18:17 That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.18:18 As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.18:19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.18:22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.18:23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die. (Ezekiel 18 : 1 – 24).
Examine the glossary of the above sins people commit, they are also the same as those they should not commit to be bound or loosened respectively. Look over that again and you will note God’s seriousness over sin.
In the event that people cannot stay away from these evils, they will persist in eating sour grape.
Therefore not to have your teeth set on edge because of the sour grapes of the ancestors is never an easy affair. The conditions to get out are irreversible and the standard cannot be lowered. God is consistent.

PART SIX
OUR CURRENT GENERATION ARE BUILDING THEIR OWN ANCESTRAL CURSES.
Do you know that the people of this generation are more abominable than our ancestors, who we often berate and accuse of having brought several woes on the current generation. The fact here is that God will not punish those who fear Him, whose erstwhile parents were evil. People who have been good, but turn to do evil will loose the past record of righteousness and stand in danger of hell.
Do not join the crowd to live in sin.

PART SEVEN
MODERN CHARACTERISTICS OF SIN.
In the past idol worshippers, never went to the church so they were known as heathens. Today some idol worshippers have titles in the church and titles at the shrines, yet the cleric cannot say they do not know them. So they will be judged and if their children join them, those children will continue with the sour grape and be judged in their generations to come. People can walk out of it, as individuals through repentance.
We therefore have an awesome age, where sin is even celebrated.
In the past idol worshippers carved their idols and displayed them for all to see. They were proud to be known as idol worshippers.
Today supposed to be christians, who are idol worshippers wear chains with the cross (in camouflage), but in their secret places they serve Satan.
They are under the yoke of satan and there are possible troubles they will go through, because God calls such people His enemies.
Some idolaters, receive holy communion in their churches, therefore communion is eaten as a ceremonial right and not eaten as the Body and Blood of Christ. The layman calls such people Christians, but secretly, they are not Christians, but they are heathens.

PART EIGHT
THIS YOKE WILL BE BROKEN THROUGH REPENTANCE AND CONFESSION OF CHRIST, AS LORD AND SAVIOUR.
Any body can refute these curses and joke with them, but God can change the situation only by repentance of cursed individuals in this generation. Cursed people cannot do any thing about it, they can raise bull face, but must note that that the bull face is given to them by God. Does God care about how a sinner will mock Hs Word?
You have to take the following steps:
1) You must become a born again Christian.
Born again people have surrendered their lives to Christ. Jesus told Nicodemus that except one be born again he cannot see or enter the kingdom of God. Except a man be born again he cannot get out of ancestral curses.
One must be born of
(i) Water ( the word of God) and
(ii) the Spirit of God, ( regeneration), before such a person can enter into God’s promises. You cannot get to God while being in this ordinary self. You must get up to the level of spirituality in holiness to get to God.
Read :
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3 : 3 -7).
To break yokes the above are sure processes.
(2) You have to make a systematic u- turn in christian life, by becoming a disciple of Christ.
A woman told me she can be a worshipper of God, but not a disciple. This means she will not be committed, but will recognise God, but not surrender her life. She would seek freedom to please herself.
There is no way, however, that she will not be entangled in sinful affairs of this life.
You must do these things to be a disciple :
Key Readings :
(1) 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (Luke 9 : 23 -24)
(2) 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14 :27).
(i) carry your cross : ready to die for Christ.
(ii) deny yourself : do what God wants before yourself. Prefer God above the pleasures of this life.
(iii) follow after Christ : leave behind many wordly things. Sometimes you must leave the dead to bury their dead.
(iv) seek first the kingdom of God : All attractions of this life, such as materialism and immorality must not have a place above God.
In born again life, a person is dead with Christ and cannot die in ancestral curses, for his life is sold out. A man in this arrangement has taken the YOKE of Christ.

NOTE THIS :
1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1 : 18).
Do not be the perishing, who will keep eating the sour grape, which the ancestors had eaten.

SUMMARY WORKSHOP.
(i) LEARNING TO READ THE BIBLE
(ii) LEARNING TO PRAY
(iii) LEARNING TO LIVE A VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE.
(a) – Pressing for holiness :
Holiness begins with being conscious of sin. Joshua said to the people :
24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins. (Joshua 24 : 19.)
The Lord said to the people :
11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.11:45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. (Leviticus 11 : 44 – 45).

(b) -Cherishing sanctification : being set apart for holy use. Read 1 Thessalonians 4 : 3.
(c) – Add fasting to prayer .
109:24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness. (Psalm 109 :24):
d) – Do good – avoid lusts of the flesh.
(Philippians 3 : 2).
(e) -Run away from idolatry in all its forms.
10:14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. (1 Corinthians 10:14).
(f) -Be a giver in agape ( divine love is not selfish love).
9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9 :7).

WORKSHOP.
ROUND UP.
SOME PEOPLE’S GENERATION MUST END GOD KNOWS WHY.
NOTES ON SPECIFIC IRREVERSIBLE CURSES.
CASE STUDIES.
(1) JEROBOAM.
14:7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,14:8 And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;14:9 But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.14:11 Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.14:12 Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die. (1 Kings 14 : 7 – 12)
(2) ELI
(i) The case of his children.
2:22 Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.2:27 And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house? (1 Samuel 2 : 22,27)
(ii) the curse on Eli.
3:11 And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.3:12 In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.3:13 For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.3:14 And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. (1 Samuel 3 : 11 – 14).
(3) SAUL AND HIS DAUGHTER MICHAL.
Michal’s barrenness ended the generation of Saul to be King in Israel.
6:16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul’s daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.6:20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!6:21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
6:22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.
6:23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
2 Samuel 6 :16, 20 -23).
Every one must insist to be cleared from ancestral curses. If you look at a family tree from three hundred to four hundred years it could be dificult to clear most families from ancestral curses
