The period in which we are is a great threatening time. It is a worrisome situation for all the world.
Most governments are not at peace. Some leaders are not concerned about the safety of the people. Most nations are no no longer following what makes sense. Some nations do not care if sisters marry their brothers and some men are having affairs with their daughters. These are abominations which even a heathen world will abhor. Shameful acts are now discussed at city squares. May God save our world..
In the Middle East we have all forms of trouble, in some parts of the world we have different levels of violence and terrorism and destruction of lives.
Many people are commenting on the coming of the end time.
WHAT DOES THE END TIME MEAN?
The end is when this world will come to an end. When physical life will not exist. This end will begin with events.
Jesus told us that He will come back again to receive the faithful believers, so that where He is will His followers be.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14 : 3).
This return will begin with the uplifting of the saints in what we know as the rapture of the saints, which is spoken of in 1 Thess. 4 : 16 – 17 as follows :
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4 : 16 – 17).
CONFIRMED BY JESUS AND THE DISCIPLES.
But the world of men do not know about Christ and His agenda. So many hear or have known about this, but do not see themselves as part of it.
Many are doing all sorts of wicked things which are part of the signs of the coming back of Christ to receive His followers.
Jesus spoke about the signs and people now even claim and tell us that it is here or there. Let us see what Christ said :
24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (Matthew 24 : 6).
This was the answer which Christ gave following the question of His followers below :
24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Matt. 24:3).
For the sign Jesus said:
.24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Many people have come with their version telling all sorts of lies about this event, and Jesus said :
24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
JESUS DESIRES THAT MORE WILL HEAR THE GOSPEL.
To this He said :
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” (Matthew 24 : 14).
With this word of Christ above, no one knows the exact time. It shall be a sudden event. Jesus is giving the entire world sufficient time. Lord, let your children not be taken unawares including me, give us sufficient preparation for your return Amen.
THIS IS THE ERA OF EVANGELISM.
All the killing of people in many parts of the world and even in Nigeria of late, are part of the signs of the end time, which Christ said is the beginning of sorrows. Some people will be used to fulfil prophecy, but they are not aware. They will give account of their roles be such roles good or evil.
All will will give account on all roles, both good and bad, about their participation in the end time events.
For some their evils in this end – time, which they do, are part of the actor’s gallantry. But all sins against humamity shall be judged, whether they are happening as a fulfilment of the divine purpose of God.
HE THAT SHED BLOOD HIS BLOOD SHALL BE SHED.
From the beginning God has stood against violence. After the flood God told the survivors in Genesis 9 the following :
9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things
9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
9:6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. (Genesis 9 : 3, 4, 6).
Therefore those who are shedding the blood of other human beings either in performance of duty shall have their own blood shed also by man.
When Cain shed the blood of Abel his brother, he received instantanious judgement of God.
God is not man and no one can question His judgement.
The man David fought many wars and in the process much blood were shed by him. He desired to build a temple for the Lord and God spoke to him in the following words :
22:8 “But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.” (1 Chronicles 22 : 8).
This message today, is not to speak about authorised shedding of blood given by God, but our aim is to speak here about the shedding of blood as the end time event.
OUR CONCERN AS THE TIME ROLLS AWAY.
There is every need to know that at the end of time the judgement will come. We know the wicked shall be cast into hell fire. We see the signs of the end and we must know it is certain. Whether we die before the event or alive does not remove the judgement. Faithful people shall be rewarded with eternal life and those who do evil shall be cast into eternal hell fire in full consciousnesses.
THOSE WHO DO EVIL MUST HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART.
There is pardon for those who repent now. God will save the sinners, who turn away from their evil ways. The trumpets sounding about the end offers opportunity to all . Jesus wants the world to be reached. Even people, who never knew Him, are beginning to know Him through miracles and signs even among them. Those who have known Christ and do not bother of the end will have greater regret, because there will be full consciousness in heaven or hell.
IF YOU HAVE NOT REPENTED AND START DOING GOOD, THEN THIS IS YOUR TIME
3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. (Hebrews 3 : 15 – 16).
The coming event which the Bible records as imminent ( can occur any time without special notice), is an opportunity for everyone. Let us not harden our hearts but let us seek the salvation of the Lord Amen.
Jesus is coming soon , do not delay to meet with the Lord.
MY PRAYER WITH YOU.
Lord God, I seek Your face today, concerning every one who is doing all they can to obey You, that You will keep them in Your Word and grant to them eternal life on the last day.
I also seek Your face, that as the gospel is still going on, You will give the repentant ones opportunity to be saved in Jesus Name Amen. Lord I live for You and wait for You Amen.
